If looking at someone's picture (or poem) sparks an idea or feeling or thought process, I'll sometimes carry the idea through in the form of a napkin-sized piece of creative writing, and it's fun to post these as comments to pictures. In addition to being fun, I think it can be valuable to the artist I'm commenting on, as my mental processes and associations sparked by the image are revealed, hopefully giving a glimpse to the artist of the feeling I get when I see the picture. And, of course, I know from experience that thoughtful commentary is very valuable to an artist.

So, these are poetic bits of writing made as comments to pictures, as well as a few philosophical statements.

Anyway, for now, I'll link to the writings that I've saved links to. Perhaps shortly I will formally submit some of them as deviations, with links to the pictures that inspired them (since a list of links isn't necessarily appealing).
