Any help is appreciated. I'm fascinated by the ability of digital enhancement and editing to turn bland or "ruined" photographs into works of art, so this might be a chance to do a fun experiment and learn something(s).
Cheers!

I thought I'd make an update to tell about something my family did today. You see, we (my brother, mom, and I) went to an art club meeting of sorts. The club is an informal walk-in group with no dues or fees; just some artists who meet in a local coffee-&-bread type eatery. All of the members are adults as far as I know, but that won't be a problem since I get along with adults pretty well. One man in the club (Steve Black) is also a local college art instructor, so I may be able to learn a few things and prepare for college arts.
I showed Black my recent sketchbook, and he pointed out the two pictures that he responded artistically to. Then I pulled out my collection of some of my better works. The others were most impressed by some Apophysis fractal prints I had. It's kind if neat having 4-5 older artists looking at your art and asking how you produced it, but
Today's events also led me to realize that I've barely posted any fractal art in my gallery, even though I said I was going to upload more. So I'm going to begin uploading those.
Aside from that, it's Christmas break! Wahoo!
=========EDIT2=========
A picture is worth a thousand words, they say, but perchance that thousand could be less, if the words had greater worth? The greatest words can be put to the slightest meaning, but how might the greatest meaning be put to the slightest words? Here is an attempt (the writing interprets the deviation this link leads to):
[link]
Either the Hero has arrived, or the Hero has departed... However, one implies the other, and twice must each happen if the hero is to be considered successful; we know that he must be.
So, two departures and two arrivals, two places that occupy the same space, two shades of sky and of earth... lines and cracks all amidst that mend in shadow but scar in light, yet the Hero cuts through - or perhaps simply past - it all, in his travel between the now and another now and back again.

Have you ever had a moment
when everything was clear
and then were cursed to find a flaw
and find yourself in fear?
Is a troubled future
of flaws in truth a bet?
Or is it simply by our nature
that truths are true and we forget?
